Bayne is a new breed of Legend: A force unlike any has ever known. We are glad to bring him to the forefront of our adventures into a world where Vampires and Werewolves have evolved still maintaining one thought in mind, make mankind food. Many have come before Bayne to battle these unnatural forces of nature. Many have taken up the fight and many have fallen. There will always come a time when one shall be born from the blood of both Creatures of Legends and that time has come again.
BAYNE, born in Siberia in 1620 AD, Bayne was the unfortunate result of a stillborn birth due to a sudden and vicious assault on his pregnant mother by an Elder Vampire known as Lord Damascus the First Vampier. Seeing what his bloodlust has wrought, Damascus decided to solidify his cruelty by unleashing the savage Warwolves upon the dying mother-to-be. The genetic mixture of Lord Damascus’ blood with the feral beasts under his boot heel, served to ensure the child’s survival, and a powerful Werewolf Dhampir was born.
Powerful, intense, Aloof and Blunt, Bayne has a single-track mindset of finding answers and slaughtering the super Un-natural creatures that plague not only his world but world we live in as well. Despite his seemingly messianic actions, Bayne does not consider himself a hero of any sorts. Bayne doesn’t go out of his way to save humans, lest they are there as a result of his actions within mid conflict. Bayne is only concerned with his seemingly endless quest to exterminate every creature of Legend until this earth is wiped clean of their treachery.
Bayne, having more of a Lycanthropic nature than his Vampiric sire, surprisingly has the attributes of a Dhampir (Human-Vampire hybrid) as well as twice the physical strength of a Werewolf. With his Super Inhuman Strength & Agility:, Bayne can exhibit a large degree of power and agility, shown in his ability to strike opponents with enough force to send them flying or smashing through solid structures. Bayne can also leap like his lycanthropic “brethren”, often clearing great distances from a standstill position or a single dash.
Due to his half-breed genealogy, Bayne can induce a change into his Werewolf nature at will. Although he does not need a complete transformation in order to face off with the enemy – Bayne is capable of producing features of a Werewolf to show his serious nature, resulting in a Hybrid Power-Up form. Bayne also possesses the durability of a Super Unnatural creature, surviving many injuries that would outright kill a normal human. His natural ability to heal is greatly enhanced by the aberrant nature of his enhanced DNA. So due to his unique DNA, Bayne is close to 450 years old but looks to be in his late forties.
Like a mongrel, Bayne possesses heightened senses of smell, hearing, and sight. He is capable of seeing in the dark and filtering his eyesight to see pheromones given off by the Clans and the Packs (since they’re capable of hiding in plain sight).
With this ability, it's very difficult for any Creature of Legend to actually catch bayne off guard or sneak attack him from any angle.
While capable of consuming regular sustenance, he prefers what his DNA cries out for – life blood. Showing restraint for feeding on humans or animals, Bayne instead absorbs the blood of his enemies through veins ejected from the palms of his hands. This unique trait is evolution based. Many of the old ways die hard as they prefer to feed through the life line of the Jugular vein. Which makes Bayne's goal for annihilating them that much pleasurable.
As powerful as Bayne is, even he has an Achilles’ heel. A tree which is thousands of years old and bears the eponymous combination of silver and elm, elements which combined can cause Bayne great harm. Separate, however, is ineffective due to him being a Werewolf-Dhampir. Due to the rarity and durability of the Silver Elm, its bark is quickly harvested and crafted into dangerous tools which are used to bring the powerful Hybrid to his knees even his death.
